Terms for using Hikeventory
Hikeventory is an independent outdoor deal and product-comparison service. Hikeventory helps visitors discover and compare current offers and then continue to the relevant retailer. Hikeventory does not itself sell the products shown on the site.
1. Role of Hikeventory
The retailer remains the seller and contractual counterparty for a purchase. The retailer’s checkout, product page and applicable retailer terms determine the final price, availability, delivery costs, payment, warranty, returns, cancellation rights and other purchase conditions.
2. Current prices, stock and deal information
Hikeventory uses verification controls to keep offer information current and to match offers to the correct product or variant. Even so, retailer information can change between checks. A displayed price, stock status, reference price or promotion is therefore a checked observation and not a guarantee that the retailer will still offer the same conditions when you visit or order.
If Hikeventory detects stale, contradictory or insufficient evidence, the affected offer may be suppressed or removed. Visitors should always verify the final details with the retailer before purchasing.
3. Ranking and commercial relationships
Commercial status, affiliate availability and commission do not determine whether an offer qualifies as a deal and do not buy a higher ranking. The main ranking considerations relate to the usefulness and quality of the offer for the visitor, such as current price evidence, exact product matching and current availability. 4. Links to third-party retailers
Hikeventory uses controlled redirects for product links. A link may be a direct retailer link or, when separately approved and activated, an affiliate link. In either case the intended destination remains the relevant retailer and product. Hikeventory is not responsible for the content, availability, security or later changes of third-party websites, but will act on credible reports of incorrect or unsafe destinations.
5. Accounts, alerts and communications
Where Hikeventory offers price alerts or account features, you are responsible for providing correct contact details and for keeping access links or account credentials secure. A price alert is an informational notification and does not reserve a price, product or stock position. Alert and account data is handled as described in the privacy notice.
6. Acceptable use
You may use Hikeventory for normal personal or business research. You may not intentionally disrupt the service, bypass access or security controls, submit knowingly false reports, misuse forms or automated endpoints, or use Hikeventory in a way that infringes the rights of Hikeventory, retailers or other third parties.
7. Intellectual property and retailer material
Hikeventory’s own text, software, design and branding remain protected by the applicable intellectual-property rules. Product names, trademarks and retailer material remain the property of their respective rightsholders. Hikeventory only reuses retailer or feed material where the applicable source and rights controls permit it.
8. Availability and changes to the service
Hikeventory may change, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, for example for maintenance, security, source-quality or legal reasons. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption but do not promise uninterrupted availability.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Within those boundaries, Hikeventory is not the seller and is not liable for a retailer’s performance of a purchase agreement. If Hikeventory itself causes direct loss through an attributable failure of the service, liability is assessed under the applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
10. Corrections and complaints
Incorrect product, price, stock or destination information can be reported through the correction form. Other questions or complaints about Hikeventory can be sent to info@hikeventory.com. We may ask for enough information to investigate a report, while limiting personal data to what is necessary.

11. Privacy
Personal data is handled according to the Hikeventory privacy notice. Optional analytics are separated from essential service and security processing. Read the privacy notice.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the service, applicable rules or Hikeventory’s operating model changes. The current version and update date are published on this page. A change does not retroactively remove statutory rights.
13. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to the use of Hikeventory, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection they are entitled to under the law that otherwise applies to them.
