Hikeventory started with a simple frustration: researching outdoor gear is enjoyable, but repeatedly checking the same product across shop after shop just to find a genuine deal is not.
I am an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast myself. I enjoy researching gear, making my kit lighter and smarter, and occasionally adding something new. What I enjoy far less is opening the same backpack, jacket, tent or water filter at retailer after retailer to work out whether an offer is actually good.
That is why I am building Hikeventory. The site brings current outdoor deals together in one place, so you can quickly see what is genuinely on offer and which retailer has it.
Only deals we can verify
Hikeventory is not a catalogue of ordinary retail prices. A product only appears as a deal when we can verify a current retailer offer. An old historical low, an RRP or a normal shop price is not enough.
Sizes, colours and other variants stay separate wherever possible. That prevents a discounted size 39 from making it look as if size 42 is available for the same price.
Verification before promotion
We do not simply repeat a discount claim. The current offer and the exact product variant it applies to must be clear enough to verify.
Independent ranking
Affiliate commission or another commercial agreement never decides which deal appears or receives a higher position.
Where Hikeventory is heading
The goal is simple: when you need new outdoor gear, you should not have to open dozens of tabs yourself. Search Hikeventory, compare the current deals for the exact product you want, and then choose the retailer that suits you.
